And he expresses his concern about being killed if he tries to walk away. Geoff then advises Edward to prepare for any situation but remain calm and patient and see how things unfold.
In the next scene, Susie arrives at the Halstead manor. Hoping to have a conversation with Edward. Susie then tells Edward about a new issue that needs his help. They need to wash 15 million pounds before they can leave the estate, so she asks for an extra three months.
Susie then sets up a meeting with Edward and Chucky. The man who is responsible for laundering their money. During Jack's boxing match, Chucky is a proud individual and is extremely proud of his skills, claiming nobody can do it better than him.
As negotiations with Chucky start, trouble escalates when Chucky catches Jack( Susie's brother) having an affair with his wife and punches him in the face when confronted. Chucky then refuses to help Susie and puts a hit on Jack. Which then forces Susie to call in a favor to have Jack stay in the Halstead manor till the situation calms and his big fight.
We are then introduced to a new character called Henry Collins, who is Jack's boxing coach and manager. Henry decides to help Edward after becoming aware of his situation. He introduces Edward to a man called Thick Rick. Who is supposed to be the most boring person in the world. After meeting Rick in person, Rick explains to Edward how he plans to launder the money. After hearing this, Edward agrees to work with him. Susie, however, prefers to use Chucky to launder money. But Edward refuses.
Edward then confronts Susie after having a conversation with Chucky. Edward then finally realizes that Susie and Bobby have no intention of leaving his estate. Also revealing her true intentions. Edward then sets up a meeting with Stanely, seeking his help to resolve the situation. He also asks Stanely to resolve the situation delicately so the Glass family can come out of this unarmed.
However, in a twist of fate, during the night of Jack's big fight, Henry summons Susie to his office, reveals that he knows about the weed farm and business, and declares that he is taking over the business and that he wants it all for himself.
Henry, then threatens Susie and tells her if she doesn't do as he says, Jack, her brother, will get hurt, ruining his entire career. Susie then tells him that he is treading into dangerous territory and is planning to wage a war he is not smart enough to win.
