In the second episode, we pick up right where we left off in the first episode. After Freddy kills Tommy, Jethro, one of Tommy's men, realizes what has happened and decides to run away in hopes of escaping Halstead Manor alive. Edward, Geoff (one of the staff working at the Halstead Manor), and Freddy run behind Jethro, hoping to catch him, and manage to catch him at the end.
However, during the chase, Jethro manages to send an ambiguous text to one of his fellow colleagues. Susie then tells Edward that they are in serious trouble because, even though Tommy was a low level mobster, his brother, called the Gospel, on the other hand, is extremely troublesome.
And she goes on to tell Edward that the Gospel is a dangerous man who is also one of the biggest cocaine dealers in the country. However, Susie comes to the rescue again and tells Edaward she'll handle the situation.
Susie then contacts a fellow associate named Felix and asks him to dispose of Tommy's body discreetly. After arriving at the scene, Felix then plans to dispose of the body in a rather unique way. Well, what he suggests is to dismember the body and then bury it. Felix then also suggests that the best way to deal with Jethro is by killing him. Edward then rejects the idea and suggests an alternative, which everyone rejects right away.
In the next scene, Gospel, Tommy's older brother, arrives at the Halstead manor, seeking information about his brother's whereabouts after talking to Edward over the phone. Due to the message left behind from Jethro, which stated, "Tackle Tommy Woo Woo," to which Edward calmly replied, Tommy left the manor after finishing his business, lying about the situation. But Gospel suspects there is more to the story and questions Edward and Freddy about it. To whom Edward again replies, saying that there was a small conflict between Tommy and Jethro about how long it took to count the money. After hearing this, Gospel was convinced that Tommy had gotten lost and left Halstead Manor.
Edward then also comes up with a plan to get rid of Jethro without killing him, and thus decides to smuggle Jethro out of the country. And so, in the next scene, we see Edward at Jethro's apartment, trying to get his passport. However, a mobster confronts Edward at the apartment, who likely seems to be one of the gospel's men. Edward, due to his special forces training, manages to kill the mobster; however, in the process, he gets shot.
As the episode progresses, Edward and Susie attend Stanley Johnston's party, as Edward was invited to the formal. Once they both arrive at the party, Susie reveals to Edward that Stanley isn't really interested in the manor but in the underground cannabis operation running beneath it. Then Susie also reveals that Stanely Johnston is a drug lord who has created a lot of wealth by selling meth.
Later, at one point during the party, Stanley and Susie began talking, and during the conversation, Stanley proposed a partnership with Susie to profit together. However, Susie declines Stanley's offer.
In the next scene of the episode, the Gospel returns to the Halstead manor, telling Edward and Freddy that he finally found Tommy's body along with his phone containing Freddy's apology video. Along with that, Edward had also planted evidence in the car framing Jethro for Tommy's murder and theft before leaving it for the Gospel to find, which he did. After telling this to Edward and Freedy, Gospel leaves the manor.
Then, at the end of the episode, Edward finally shows Freddy the underground cannabis operation at the family farm. Jethro gets sent to Australia on a boat. Edward then meets Susie's father, Bobby Glass, on a request. Edward then told Bobby that they needed to re-negotiate their deal. Edward then offers Bobby more money in exchange for vacating the Halstead manor within a year.
